TRYACT'S MISSION

To assist the Two Rocks and Yanchep Cancer patients to commute to the many medical, diagnostic and treatment appointments scheduled throughout their Cancer journey. This helps alleviate the cost and time of transit to both the patients and their carers. Through means of encouragement and support we aim to nurture the emotional needs of the Cancer patients and their families by facilitating a Support Group. This holistic approach provides a happy and caring network to help those who require a little bit of TLC!

ON THE BUSES
TREATMENT TRANSPORT

The Tryact “On the Buses” project has been created in response the lack of and the transport cost to the Yanchep and Two Rocks Cancer residents. Tryact members are currently fundraising and engaging grants and sponsorships to provide transport at a subsidised cost to enable patients to get to their Medical facilities for their ongoing treatment. Our long term goal is to fully fund this transport with no cost to the patient or family.

CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

The CCWA Support Group Program aims to minimise the impact of a cancer diagnisis on the patient, their families and friends by providing people affected by Cancer with information and emotional support to enhance their quality of life.

The Cancer Support Group will operate as a preferred provider under the umbrella of Cancer Council Western Australia (CCWA) whilst remaining an independent community group.

This service was officially launched on the 15th February 2014.
